Use your developing vocal technique in class performance. Tuition focusses on general performance skills and application of technique to songs. A good first group experience before moving on to Jazz or Harmony singing.

After Part B or some initial private lessons, this enjoyable module provides a great way to break out of private lessons and get together in a group. You will apply your newly learned technique to songs, and work towards a group and personal performance on the last night.

Your tutor will also give you a taste of both Harmony and Jazz singing.

There is no formal technical vocal development in this group - it is all about singing songs. The performance on the last night is recorded and written to CD for you.

These intensive sessions move rapidly around the class with technical work and practical singing.
Aims of this module are:
  • To become secure in the techniques you have been learning, applying them to songs.
  • Developing your understanding of repertoire selection, and which songs suit you best
  • To begin to transcend technique and put some emphasis on performance of the song
  • The awakening of your own originality, and the deepening of your interpretative skills.
If you want, you can repeat this module.
